Dollhouse Chair Supplies

Pictured are the components needed to build the easy to construct arts and craft dollhouse chair like the one in the inset. These miniature wood craft chairs can be used to dress up any small dollhouse.

The parts needed are:
  • Two wooden craft wheels 1" in diameter.
  • A circular or multi-sided wooden piece 3/4" to 1" in diameter.
  • A wooden gingerbread man about 1 1/2" across.
  • A wooden wooden oval or piece of craft stick about 1 1/2" long.
  • There are very few parts to this project. The wheels can be a bit hard to find.

For the gingerbread man and wooden oval, look for wood shape assortments.

    Miniature Chair Construction

The image gives views of both the front and back of a miniature wood craft chair.

The bottom of the chair a glued stack of two wooden wheels.

The circular or multi-sided wooden piece is glued to the top of the stacked wheels for chair seat.

The wooden oval or hobby stick piece is then glued to the back of the gingerbread man and wheels as shown, making the back of the craft chair.

When the glue is dry, all that's left to do is paint the chair your choice of colors.

Finished Dollhouse Table and Chair Set

At left is shown the completed chair, next to the table of the previous page. These two items go well together. You can add a full set of chairs if you like.
