Miniature Dollhouse Table & Chairs
Make this fun woodcraft miniature table to dress up your dollhouse. It’s a perfect kid craft that helps your child gain interest in crafting. Plus, it can give them hours of fun when used with a dollhouse.
Miniature Table Supplies
The parts for the table are:
- Three 1″ diameter craft wheels.
- A round or multi-sided wood piece 1 1/2″ to 2″ in diameter
The only tools required are glue and paint, making this an exceptionally easy child craft.
These handy craft pieces are available in crafting wood assortments. The wheels are a bit harder to find, but you can find all you need for this craft online at Wood Crafting Materials, which has all kind of materials for these wood crafting projects.
Miniature Table Assembly
As the image illustrates, crafting the miniature dollhouse table is a snap. Just glue the three wheels upon one another in a stack. I generally use Aleene’s Original Tacky because it seems to hold well and dries quickly.
Next, glue on the circular or multi-sided wood piece to make the top.
Wait for the glue to dry.
Decorate the Miniature Table
All that’s left to do is paint or decorate your miniature table as you desire.
Shown above is a completed table decorated entirely with paint. The rim of this table is given a thin, yellow coat for a nice trim. Naturally, you can choose any color scheme you desire.
A Perfect Companion – Miniature Chairs
Dollhouse Chair Supplies
Pictured above are the components needed to build the easy to construct arts and craft dollhouse chair like the one in the inset. These miniature wood craft chairs are perfect companions to the wood craft table, and both can be used to dress up any small dollhouse.
The parts needed are:
- Two wooden craft wheels 1″ in diameter.
- A circular or multi-sided wooden piece 3/4″ to 1″ in diameter.
- A wooden gingerbread man about 1 1/2″ across.
- A wooden wooden oval or piece of craft stick about 1 1/2″ long.
There are very few parts to this project. You may be able to obtain what you need at a local arts and crafts store, or you can find the supplies you need online at Crafting Supplies.
For the gingerbread man and wooden oval, look for wood shape assortments.

Miniature Chair Construction
The image above gives views of both the front and back of a miniature wood craft chair.
The bottom of the chair are a glued stack of two wooden wheels.
The circular or multi-sided wooden piece is glued to the top of the stacked wheels for the chair seat.
The wooden oval or hobby stick piece is then glued to the back of the gingerbread man and wheels as shown, making the back of the craft chair. On this example, I added a wood piece that’s a simple human shape, again a part from a wood shapes assortment.
When the glue is dry, all that’s left to do is paint the chair your choice of colors.
Finished Dollhouse Table and Chair Set
Above is shown the completed chair sitting next to the wood craft table. These two items go well together. You can add a full set of chairs if you like.
