Are you ready to make a realistic looking miniature craft wishing well? If
so, just follow the steps on this sequence of pages and you'll end up with
a fine miniature wishing well like that shown in the inset of the image
below.
There are quite a few steps in the construction of this balsa wood craft,
but taken one at a time they are easy to complete. To make things even easier,
I've coupled each step with a color image that fully illustrates what you
should do.
If you want a child to make this craft project, just help with the cutting
of balsa wood pieces, and the rest is easy for a child to complete.

Supplies Needed for Wishing Well
The image shows what materials are needed to make a wood craft wishing
well.
You'll need the following supplies:
Two 1/8" thick balsa wood panels 4" by 2 1/2" .
Two 1/8" thick balsa wood triangles 2 3/4" on each short side.
Five 1/4" thick balsa wood squares, 2 3/4" on a side.
Four 1/4" square posts of 2 3/4" length.
Two 1/4" square posts of 6" length.
Two 1/4" square posts of 3 3/8" length.
One piece of 1/4" or 3/8" square stock of 4" length.
One piece of 1/8" dowel cut to 4 1/4" length.
Some dollhouse shingles.
Wood glue, paint, decorations

As to glue, I recommend Aleene's Tacky glue. It dries quickly, and holds
wood pieces together securely.
